HSG
A hysterosalpingogram or HSG is an X-ray procedure used to check if the fallopian tubes are patent (open) and the inside of the uterus (uterine cavity) is normal. The HSG is an outpatient procedure that only takes 5 minutes to complete. This is usually done after the menstrual period but before ovulation.
